Jean Tourrilhes is a researcher at Networking and Communication Lab in HP-Labs in Palo Alto. He has been working on the OpenFlow® Standard since early 2008 and has participated in the OpenFlow® Standard specification process at Stanford and ONF. Jean contributed to the specification of OpenFlow® Standards 0.8.9, 0.9, 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2. He led the prototype implementation of the OpenFlow® Standard in the firmware of select HP-ProCurve switches, and he helped the deployment of that implementation in various research institutions throughout the world. Jean is currently leading the Extensibility working group in the ONF.
