ONF has invited all members to come to Silicon Valley on June 21 for its first member meeting, dubbed “member workday”. The day will consist of alternating plenary and breakout sessions with the goal being to flesh out proposals and plans that lead to the formation of working groups that will develop the ONF standards. Breakout discussion groups will consider extensibility, OpenFlow® protocol features (centering first on IPv4 and IPv6), interoperability and conformance testing, and configuration and management. Attendees will be given homework assignments to prepare for a constructive workday together. All members of record as of June 17 are welcome to attend.
