Ten ONF Member Companies will Demonstrate OpenFlow® in Action at InteropNet OpenFlow® Lab
Palo Alto, Calif. – May 3, 2012
WHO: The Open Networking Foundation (ONF) will sponsor the InteropNet OpenFlow® Lab at Interop Las Vegas 2012.
Ten ONF member companies, including BigSwitch Networks, Broadcom, Brocade, Extreme Networks, HP, IBM, Ixia, NEC, Netgear, and Vello Systems, will be discussing and demonstrating the OpenFlow® protocol and real-world uses for this expanding technology.
WHEN: The InteropNet OpenFlow® Lab will be held at Interop Las Vegas May 8 through 10, 2012.
WHERE: The event will be held at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The InteropNet OpenFlow® Lab will be housed in booth #2219 of the expo hall.
WHAT: The InteropNet Labs raise awareness of concepts that will affect the future design and implementation of enterprise networks. At the InteropNet OpenFlow® Lab, various members of ONF will demonstrate their vision for the future of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and the OpenFlow® protocol. ONF aims to use this Lab to educate Interop attendees on the principles, functions, and features of the OpenFlow® protocol and highlight multiple real-world uses for OpenFlow-based SDN.
