The ONF Testing Leadership Council

The ONF Testing Leadership Council (TLC) shall support the goals of ONF by providing guidance on the testing activities of ONF, in concert with other working groups in the organization. Comprised of representatives from each ONF-accredited testing lab along with one representative from each ONF member company involved in testing for ONF-approved protocols and standards, the TLC will be led by a Chair and a Vice Chair. These appointments will serve for a term of two years and will alternate between testing labs and testing companies for each new term of service.
TLC responsibilities include
- Develop policies, procedures and guidelines for the effective management of testing programs for ONF in conformance, performance benchmarking, and interoperability.
- Develop best practices for testing and a policy & procedures manual for ONF-approved testing facilities worldwide.
- Advise on best policies to align testing methodologies, processes, and timetables to with developments in technical specifications within the ONF.

ONF has selected University of New Hampshire InterOperability Lab (UNH-IOL) as a certified conformance testing lab. The UNH-IOL is a neutral, third-party laboratory dedicated to testing data networking technologies through industry collaboration.
