SD-RAN v1.0 Techinar
Feb 09, 2021 to Feb 09, 2021 | Virtual Event
Join this webinar led by the SD-RAN experts, to learn about release v1.0, project goals, the planned roadmap and much more. This is also an excellent opportunity for attendees to get their questions answered. SD-RAN is ONF's new exemplar platform for 3GPP compliant software-defined RAN that is consistent with the O-RAN architecture. SD-RAN implements an open source nRT-RIC (called µONOS-RIC) and exemplar xApps with the goal of working with operators to trial combinations of these open components with vendor proprietary (or other open) versions of disaggregated mobile RAN components - including RU/DU/CUs and xApps. Learn more about SD-RAN's goals and interworking with other organizations (O-RAN, TIP). We will also discuss the recent first release of the SD-RAN (v1.0) project and roadmap items for 2021.
Intended Audience
The first part of the webinar which focuses on goals of the project and ONF's relationship to other efforts in the industry is intended for everyone with an interest in this field - product managers, CTOs, and engineers from operators, component-vendors, system integrators etc. The second part discusses details of the 1st release and roadmap items, and is tailored for developers in this space.
