The CTC5163 is a high-feature, high-performance IP/Ethernet all-in-one switch designed to fulfill next generation Data Center and Enterprise network requirements with SDN innovation. It integrates new features including cut-through forwarding, DCB protocols, FCoE, TRILL, CAPWAP, and 802.1Qbg/802.1BR. The single chip bandwidth can run up to 120Gbps.
Leveraging the advanced N-Cube architecture, the chip natively supports multi-stage flow tables and large flow tables. Up to 32K hashed-based flow entry is supported with the embedded memory. The cut-through forwarding offers lower and fixed latency. Utilizing the advanced IBM 45nm technology, GreatBelt dissipates 15W (typical) for maximum configuration.
