Together with the NEC ProgrammableFlow Controller, this Hybrid switch, connecting OpenFlow® with standard L2/L3 networks, can provide dramatic reduction in network operating expense by eliminating the need for standard protocols like spanning tree, and dramatically simplifying traditional networks.
