Bill Lynch received his PhD from Stanford and then architected parts of the UltraSPARC III and UltraSPARC IV. In 1999, he co-founded Procket Networks, which built the world’s highest-density and most power-efficient core router, centered around a .18u 40Gbps network processor. Cisco acquired Procket in 2004, and Bill worked on two different next generation high-speed network processors. Joining Huawei in 2009, Bill drives Hauwei’s overall NPU strategy and development.
