Mark Gooch works for Hewlett Packard Enterprise where he is a Distinguished Technologist and ASIC Architect for the HPE-Aruba group. He leads the design and development of forwarding functionality for HPE-Aruba networking ASICs. Mark Joined HP in 1997 and has been involved with all phases of ASIC development from architecture, design, pre- and post-silicon verification through to writing software drivers. Mark holds a Ph.D. from Loughborough University (England) and a B.Eng. degree in electronics from the University of Sheffield (England). In addition, Mark has been granted 34 US patents on various networking-related technologies.
