Tao Gu is Vice President of Business Development at Centec Networks, an innovative IP/Ethernet switching silicon startup and turnkey solution provider. Tao is responsible for technical marketing, business development and driving Centec’s SDN strategy. Tao is also deeply involved in Centec’s technical and product direction and has served as CTO and Director of Software Development at Centec prior to his current role, overseeing the forwarding spec and SDK development for the switching silicon and system software development for the turn key solutions.
Prior to Centec, Tao was responsible for IP/Ethernet switch software architecture and design at MRV Communications and service provider network test platform system software development at Spirent Communications.
Tao holds B.S. in Telecommunication Engineering from Beijing University of Post & Telecommunications and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California.
